Omni is designed for individuals who require a motorised wheelchair and have sufficient upper body strength to support themselves without additional straps or upper body support. Users must also be able to operate the joystick and control system independently.

Omni has a maximum user weight capacity of 130kg.

Yes, Omni is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It features four-wheel drive, active shock absorbers, and kerb-climbing capabilities, making it highly adaptable to various environments.

  • Pavement Mode: 4mph
  • Road Mode: 8mph (in compliance with UK Class III mobility regulations)

 

Yes, Omni is classified as a UK Class III mobility device, meaning it can be legally used on roads, as long as the correct mode is selected. It is also legal on dual carriageways with a flashing orange beacon, with speed limits of 50mph or less, but not on motorways.  However Conquering Horizons do not advocate its use on dual carriageways.

Yes, the seat height can be adjusted to enable face-to-face interactions and improve accessibility. The seat can be raised (raise to 910mm/35.8”) or lowered at the push of a button.

Yes, Omni can climb and descend kerbs up to 130mm / 5” high when the Kerb Climb Mode is activated.

Battery range depends on terrain, user weight, and driving style. Under normal conditions, a fully charged battery should last a full day of typical use.  The tested range is over 30 miles / 48km to a single charge.

  • Omni comes with a PRO-ACTIVE 300 battery charger.
  • Charging typically takes several hours, depending on battery depletion.
  • The LED indicators on the charger will display charge status.

Yes, Omni can be transported via air, rail, or sea, but it must be securely packed in a crate. The battery must be isolated with the isolator switch on the front during transport to comply with airline safety regulations.  The batteries are UN38.3 compliant.

Yes, the four-wheel-drive system and shock absorbers allow Omni to handle gravel, grass, rough terrain etc. However, it should not be used in deep water (>50mm), soft sand, or extreme slopes.

Omni features a Static Hold override system, which allows it to be put into freewheel mode for manual pushing if needed. However, this should only be done on level ground for safety.

Omni offers several user adjustments, including:

  • Backrest angle, width and depth adjustments.
  • Armrest height, length, and yaw angle adjustments.
  • Footrest height and angle adjustments.
  • Tilt-in-Space feature (25° recline to reduce pressure).

Yes, Omni features:

  • Front and rear LED lights for visibility
  • Brake lights that activate when slowing down in road mode.
  • Hazard lights for emergency situations.
  • Tyres: Check pressure weekly.
  • Bodywork: Clean with car shampoo ( No pressure washers).
  • Seat Coverings: Machine-washable on a delicate cycle.
  • Electronics: Wipe with a damp cloth (do not spray water directly).
  • How often should my Omni be serviced?
  • Regular owner maintenance should be done weekly (tyre checks, visual inspections).
  • A full service by our authorised technician should be performed annually to maintain warranty.

Extended warranty and servicing packages are available.

es, but the vehicle’s seatbelt system must be used.  Omni’s built-in optional lap strap is not sufficient for vehicle travel.  Omni is crash test approved and fulfils the requirements of ISO 7176-19.
