Phillip Eaglesham, a former Royal Marine Commando, was seriously injured during active service in Afghanistan, as a result of which he became dependent on a wheelchair. Phil is very determined and, despite his disability, has become a Paralympian. From the start, it became obvious as wheelchair users are poorly served by existing products and he was determined to do something about it.

A chance meeting at a charity event with a local businessman led to the setting up of a company, Conquering Horizons Ltd, in 2015 with the aim of designing and building a technically advanced, reliable, robust, comfortable device, capable of being customised for various levels of disability.
